The short version

We collect what Pawtine needs to run your household’s checklist, reminders and pet records.
Your household sees what you add. Nobody else does.
We never sell your data, and Pawtine has no ads or ad trackers.
You can delete your account in the app at any time.

1Who we are

Pawtine is an app that helps a household share pet care. It’s made by OneFive Labs (“we”, “us”). We decide how the personal data described here is used, which makes us its controller under laws such as the EU and UK GDPR.

2What we collect

We only collect what the app needs to work. Most of it is information you or people in your household type in.

Account: Your name and email address from Sign in with Apple or Google, and a profile photo if you add one. If you use Apple’s Hide My Email, we only see the relay address.
Settings: Time zone, language, weight unit, notification choices and quiet hours.
Household: The household’s name, its members and their roles, invite codes, and sitter passes with the sitter’s name, dates and permissions.
Pets: Name, species, breed, birthday and photo, plus a microchip number, vet name, vet phone and notes if you add them.
Routine: Tasks such as meals, walks and medication, with the dose text you enter, the times and how often they repeat.
Activity: Who completed, skipped, snoozed or undid each task, and when.
Health records: Treatments, vaccines, vet visits, weights and notes, plus the photos and documents you upload, such as vaccine certificates.
Device: A push notification token, whether your phone runs iOS or Android, and the app version.
Purchases: Whether your household has an active plan, and which store it came from. Apple or Google take the payment, so we never see your card details.
Messages: What you send us when you contact support.

Pawtine uses your camera or photo library only when you choose to add a picture. It doesn’t use your location or your contacts.

3How we use it

To run Pawtine. We sync your household’s checklist, show who did what, and store your pets’ records.
To send notifications. Your phone schedules due reminders itself. Our servers send household updates and late-dose alerts.
To manage plans. We apply the free plan’s limits and unlock the Household plan for everyone in your home.
To keep Pawtine safe. We use data to prevent abuse, fix problems and protect accounts.
To reply to you when you contact us.

If you’re in the EEA or UK, we rely on these legal bases. Contract, to provide the app you signed up for. Legitimate interests, to keep Pawtine secure and working well. Consent, for the waitlist, which you can withdraw at any time. Legal obligation, for things like tax records and lawful requests.

We don’t sell personal data, show ads, or use your data to train AI models.

4What your household sees

Pawtine is built for sharing. Everyone in a household can see and edit its pets, tasks, activity and health records, and your name appears next to the tasks you tick off.

Pet sitters see only what the owner allows, and only until their access ends.
If you leave a household, what you logged there stays in its history.
If you delete your account, your name is removed from the history of every household you were in.

5No ads

Pawtine doesn’t show ads on any plan. It’s paid for by the Household plan.

There’s no advertising software in the app, so we don’t collect an advertising ID or share anything with ad networks.
On iPhone, Pawtine never asks for permission to track you across other apps and websites.

7Where it’s stored

Pawtine’s database and files are hosted by Supabase on servers in Seoul, South Korea. The European Commission and the UK both recognise South Korea as giving personal data adequate protection.

Some of our providers, such as Google and RevenueCat, process data in the United States and other countries. When data leaves the EEA or UK, we rely on safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK Addendum.

8How long we keep it

Account and household data stays for as long as you have an account.
Activity history is kept for as long as the household exists. The free plan shows the last 30 days, and the Household plan shows all of it.
Health records stay until you delete them, the pet or the household. Your plan never deletes them.
Invite codes expire after 7 days, and sitter access ends on the date the owner sets.
Deleted data can stay in our encrypted backups for up to 30 days, until they’re overwritten.

9Delete your account

In the app

1Open Settings.
2Tap Delete account and data.
3Type DELETE to confirm.

Your account is deleted straight away. If you’re the only owner of a household, the household is deleted too, for everyone, along with its pets, tasks, records, photos and documents.

Can’t open the app? Email hello@getpawtine.com from the address on your account, and we’ll delete it within 30 days.

To leave a household without deleting your account, use Settings › Leave household.

Deleting your account doesn’t cancel a subscription. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play settings.

10Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your data, or to restrict or stop using it. You can also withdraw consent at any time. Email us and we’ll reply within 30 days. We may need to confirm it’s you first.

In the app, you can edit or delete your profile, pets, tasks and records yourself.
In the EEA and UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
In California, we don’t sell personal information or share it for advertising.

11Children

Pawtine is for people aged 16 and over. We don’t knowingly collect data from children. If you think a child has given us personal data, email us and we’ll delete it.

12Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Our database checks every request, so only members of a household can read its data, and photos and documents are kept in private storage. Sitter links are stored only as a one-way hash, so the link itself is never kept in our database.

No system is perfectly secure. Please keep your phone locked and your Apple or Google account protected.

13This website and the waitlist

This website doesn’t use advertising cookies or tracking scripts. Our hosting provider keeps short-lived server logs, such as IP addresses, to keep the site secure.

If you join the waitlist, we store your email address. We use it only to send launch news and beta invites. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and we delete waitlist details within 12 months of launch, or sooner if you unsubscribe.

14Changes to this policy

If we make an important change, we’ll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. The date at the top shows when this policy last changed.
